Name: Aisha
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Ethnicity: Greek
Appearance: Here
Personality:
Very playful, as her main picture would express. Whenever she has the time, or if she is not sewing, weaving or reading (although it is technically forbidden), Aisha is out and exploring, always finding handsome Satyrs to burn a few hours with by teasing them to no end. While a few often promise that one day they will have her hand, she just plays along for the fun of it, plus her feline DNA leads her to love attention of any kind. That being said, she also doesn't like being left out of the limelight or pushed out of it, but she plays it cool and makes any sort of attempt to get into it without looking like she is pushy or overly narcissistic. She does love herself, that is for a fact, but she can go a day without looking at herself in a mirror or in the reflection the waters provide. She is also hard working, often in the Agoras selling her father's jewelry. She worries for him since he is well aged by now.
Background History:
Her mother was a gypsy and about a month or two after Aisha was born, she plopped the babe in her father's arms and was off to pursue a new career. Even the chance of having a baby girl, a family, and a permanent home wouldn't keep the woman there. Heartbroken, her father never attempted to find Aisha a mother figure and raised the girl on his own with pure kindness that was unusual of men in that era. He never scolded her harshly and laid a hand to her for the little mistakes she made, simply taught her what was right and what was wrong. Despite lacking a mother of any sort, Aisha grew up beautifully and completely on her own as far as feminine needs, problems, and so on were concerned. She taught herself and her father how to sew, weave and cook that way either of them could prepare a meal when needed.
At around the age of fifteen, Aisha found herself confronted with Hermes, the messenger god. For many years Aisha had praised him the highest because not only was he the messenger god, but a god of poetry and of orators and wit, many objects that she adored more than anything else in the world. Flattered by this, Hermes had always kept a certain eye out for Aisha. When he felt the time was half appropriate, he appeared in front of her as a handsome young man around the age of sixteen and proclaimed his undying love for her. They both knew she was much too young for her to experience love. As a token of his true, genuine love, Hermes granted her a pair of winged golden lace-up sandals. They would appear as regular sandals to other mortals but Aisha would be granted the ability to fly and, if she were to forevermore accept his declaration of love, find her way to him where they would make the eternal bond, consumate it and live happily together.
Three years later she is still earthbound and working on helping her aged father with his jewelry making business. He was the finest in the land, but he couldn't be traveling back and forth daily in order to transport the goods. In an attempt to help him out, Aisha insisted on going instead.
Current History:
Nothing that needs to be brought up just yet.
Fun Facts:
Her favourite colour is maroon, like the colour that makes up her attire. It was a secret gift from Hermes on her seventeenth birthday.
While she respects him, she is not a fan of Zeus after hearing a friend of hers had been raped by him but, luckily, no child was conceived. She often fears being caught off guard and raped by him.
Her favourite flower is the Lotus, despite its hallucinogenic side effects if (swayed by the Lotus Eaters )to eat it.
