Name: Reine Volkov
Age: 36, but she'd never say it aloud.
Gender: Female
Race: Human, Ethnicity-wise? Half Russian, Half caucasiaun.
Description: Here
As far as physical appearances go, she is fairly pale in skin complexion, smooth like a porcelain doll's. Some would often joke that she would be 'basking in the moonlight' each night in order to have the skin tone. She stands at a tall 5'8, being blessed with her father's height and mother's femininity. Her bust and hip sizes are decent, perhaps just the right amount for a woman without over {or under} doing it. Her hair is long and wavy, stopping at halfway down her back and it is a lovely blue-black colour. Her eye colour is a light gray, sometimes appears to be pure white depending on what she is wearing that day.
For Fashion:
She is often seen wearing a charcoal coloured catsuit, no sleeves. Over it she wears a signature white leather trench coat, shoe-wear she wears a darkish pink pair of flat boots (with matching glovettes) and is almost never seen in heels, dresses or skirts unless it is absolutely necessary, but even then she feels it doesn't give her much leeway to do what she wants.
History:
Born and raised in the city of Moscow for the first 16 years of her life, mostly due to the fact that this was her father's hometown and he didn't have high intentions of leaving it at the time, she grew up in an upper middle class family. Not overly wealthy, not dirt poor, but her life was rather cush and she would manage to earn nice things come report card time.
It was in her own home that she had learned both English and Russian fluently due to her parent's mixed and completely different 'worlds'. Upon the age of Seventeen, things started to get rocky. Her mother yearned to return back to the states to reconnect with her family, her father didn't want to go. They argued for a while but soon came to terms that perhaps it was time to let each other go. Surprisingly they divorced on good terms, but managed to get joint custody. Now how did that work out?
For the next year Raine would, with assistance from a close friend of her father's whom held both a plane and a private pilot license, fly every other month to Moscow to spend it with her father. Because of the hectic scheduling, Raine was pulled out from the high school her mother had her attended in her younger years and thrown into home schooling.
Things went well for the first few months but all of the flying had her growing unhappy at a steady rate. She was relieved, though, when her Eighteenth birthday was around the corner and she was out of the joint custody grasp. She loved both her parents dearly and paid her occasional visits but she felt that now, in her time of life, she needed to get going if she was to ever pursue the career path she wanted: Law and Public Safety.
She spent her years studying diligently, and while it cost her a good few of her 'party weekends', she would make amends and try to take some time off before she would burn herself out from studying too hard. When the chances that she succeeded seemed to be getting bleaker and bleaker, there came her opportunity to work under a well known detective.
She snatched up that opportunity to work under him until the day she would finally be able to work on her own. Given, it took a while but she felt it was all worth it in the end to be doing what she loved...Regardless of the fact that most of her colleges often think she hates her job with a deep passion because of her neutral and sometimes aggravated personality. Which now leads in to a small glance at her personality. Reine has been known to hold a rather serious, and at the same time a sharp and attractive, face. Whether she is in the line of duty or in her office, mentally 'sulking' through what seems to be hours and hours of reports and paperwork.
She isn't too keen on the idea of getting close to anyone in the work place because from what she had seen, the death rate in both police forces and her area of work have increased an overwhelming amount. Though, if someone does manage to get through that tough shell of hers, they'd find that she has a plethora of interests and is a very pleasant, kind hearted, and loyal woman. Possibly the best of friends anyone could ever have. While that would mean certain kinds of work for those up to the task, they would come to find, or hopefully come to find, that it was well worth it.
Lately it seems she's been making that harder and harder to do, though, what with all of these cases coming up cold and inconclusive. More than anything her work comes first. Call her a workaholic and she'll agree, for she acknowledges that it's a dangerous obsession.
