Name: Gaia
Age: Older than time
Gender: Female
Appearance: Here
Personality:
According to Greek Mythology, she is a nymph and moves on to becoming the mother of the entire earth. She controls earthly elementals and is often found holding lilies and numerous other stalks. The look on her face most often is stoic.
She's independent, doesn't like taking crap from any of the gods, goddesses and most definitely not any of the other nymphs in the area. She hates human contact and, when bored, ends up flirting with males from afar with twisted mind games.
Background History:
Now came in the era of new titans who had yet to unlock their true potential, among them being Gaia. Her birth started out with a simple seed that blooked into a green, mint and purple flower. As the flower grew and bloomed, the figure of a young woman started to form from inside. Her head, torso, and arms stuck out for the longest of times until finally she sprung out of the flower, fully grown and new to the world around her.
Almost immediately, articles of nature gathered around her to form suitable clothes. She was greeted by a male with wispy, light blue hair, almost completely white and vibrant white eyes, a light purple colour in skin tone. He spoke of being her half brother and welcomed her into the new world, immediately taking romantic interest in her.
Days passed and Gaia was just growing to get to know her surroundings. It took no time at all for leaves and other articles of the earth to cling snugly to her body. Animals were kind to her and she could 'hear' what plants were saying, even 'feel' what they were feeling. She sympathized quite a bit. It also didn't take her long to assert independence, not wanting Uranos' help but enjoying his company now and then.
When she was finally on her own and allowed to control her doman, Gaia did so and soon proved to be quite the manipulator of nature. Her parents above took notice of this and most definitely didn't take that lightly. When they felt she was ready to take on the status of Goddess and Mother Earth, they showed themselves in only a dream. Young Gaia's hair was a minty colour when first born, as it can still be seen on most of her hair, when she awoke and unlocked her true power, most of it turned purple.
At first, after she had heard of her parent's plans to replace their former children with 'better' versions, that being her and her other siblings, she felt...Conflicted about that. It was as if she was just 'born' to be better than her predecessing Gaia. She wondered what her fate would be if she were to do a bad job at maintaining her 'title'.
Fun Facts:
Like the Gaia in the mythology, she is involved with a male named Uranos who is the sky, but they are only half siblings.
She sometimes does end up falling for humans but Uranos forgives her...and surprisingly, he's VERY faithful, which makes Gaia feel horrible. (And it's als another reason why she doesn't involve herself with them)
Gaia did not give birth to Uranos. They only share a mother, and that's barely even the case because Uranos sprang out of her head, similar to Athena's birthing from Zeus.
