Name: Ryoko Hoshikuji
Age: 25
Gender: Female
Appearance: Here
Personality: By day she is a strict, by the book kind of woman..Sort of. While she does follow the rules, Ryoko often goes about them in rather...Diverting way. She bends the rules to her liking and won't take no for an answer. Why should she? She's the captain of the ship! That being said, she's very intellectual, rather well rounded with how different parts of her ship work and what sort of jobs others can do in order to make sure that nothing goes wrong during their long journies across space and the lightyears.
Yes, she is a space ship captain. Most of the time when people take a look at her, they find her to be rather alluring and yet cold due to her 'business only' attitudes during the 'daylight' hours. Some are taken aback by her 'act first, questions later' policy and can sometimes find her actions to be downright ludicrous until they find out the true intention behind them. She often remarks that there is "A wisdom behind her insanity."
Although in her avian form, she is wild, often working on impulse and doesn't care what repurcussions come her way. She becomes lewd, flirtatious and will always be guaranteed to get her way.. And yet she can somehow manage to stay serious about cetain businesses as time and treatments go by.
Background History:
Ever since her society had prospered to teh point where alien, sentient beings and humans could coexist on Earth, Ryoko would watch from her small windowsill as the stars and numerous space crafts flew by, leaving her completely struck in awe. She knew at that very moment that she wanted to be one of those remarkable people who have these unusual adventures with others from across the stars. She wished and wished and as she entered into school, the purple haired female would study until her eyes hurt.
As she grew older, numerous employers saw a great potential in her and took interest, not only for her mechanic knowledge of a space ship, but for her brave spirit, cunning mind and natural allure. A few men, especially, took the most interest in her and knew that she was the one. At the tender age of sixteen, Ryoko had been recruited and was dubbed the company, Nephlexis', youngest captain. They allowed her to grow familiar with the workers to see if she'd be compatible.
Once that was done and out of the way, they had taken Ryoko into a room, had her strip down and placed her in a special container which was normally used to take full body and mind scans to see if one was competent enough. Instead, as they conduced the regular test, they exposed Ryoko to a special type of gas that would first alter her senses and render her asleep.
Once completely unconscious, they injected her with an experimental serum. She had been genetically altered with avian DNA to see if they could create a new sort of human. They did suceed but at a cost. Ryoko would transform into her wild, avian form as soon as the moonlight would hit her and she would stay that way until morning would rise. Funny thing was, though, even when there was no moonlight or sunrise, she would change to her form at midnight on the dot and back at six A.M.
Ryoko often had blackouts and never knew what happened during that time until her crew members made her aware of the situation. This enraged her and for once she transformed during the afternoon in a fit of rage. It had been noticed that, upin further analysis, she had become genetically unstable and would transform when she underwent different sorts of emotions, and sometimes it was completely random, but the transformation, during the mornings and afternoons, wouldn't last more than two hours.
After time had gone by, scientists found that with some medicine her condition became somewhat stable. Members new and old had become used to Ryoko's transformations but knew better than to question her in that form, seeing as her temper would flare at the slightest of faults.
Fun Facts:
Her favorite gem is Topaz (which is the November birth month) but she was born in October, which is the Rose Sapphire stone.
Despite having Avian blood in her she doesn't fly very much, but she CAN sprout wings.
