Name: Umbrielle
Age: Ageless
Gender: Female
Appearance: Here
Personality:
She is very mello and often can be described as easy going. She does, in fact, like to 'go with the flow' as ironic as that sounds. Most of the time you can see a soft smile on her face. She's graceful, soft spoken, and kind to all creatures. She is very admiring of her older sister Leena, although Leena cannot see that it's not a competiton between the two.
Umbrielle is very loyal and if she says she is to do something, best believe she will do it. Her wisdom seems to be never-ending, not only is she good at giving wonderful, helpful advice, but she is probably the best person to go to when it comes to consoling saddened forms of any kind. She likes to bestow random gifts upon human kind for their benefit in the belief that they can go far with a few adjustments to their lifestyles.
Background History:
One of many daughters of nature, Umbrielle had always been the soft spoken, yet kind hearted one who always gave. She split up parts of her body in efforts to help and assist humans before coming back together. She couldn't help but give and give, it was rare to see her upset or angry, although it has happened. She always sought out to make her mother, father and older sister Leena proud, but it seemed to be a struggle to impress Leena. Seeing as the fiery sister always saw everything as a competition, Umbrielle found it a bit discouraging that her sister was so blind as to miss the fact that Umbrielle adored Leena so much.
She is always described as mello, but there have been times where human kind was just so foolish. It angered her to the point where the seas roared and winds overhead produced rain like there wss no tomorrow. She summoned heavy forces to expel the city of Atlantis for those foolish Atlantians doubting her power and mocking her good name. And after all she had given them. Umbrielle had given water, a fountain that shared the wealthy knowledge of generations to come and endless genius ways to improve a city beyond its time.
She felt she needed to seek retribution in that way and carried out with it until Atlantis was no more than a mere dream. There were occasional times when she came in contact with humans, mainly in the time of the ancient Greek civilization. Most described her as beautiful, pixie like and wise. They wrote her off as a nymph goddess and praised her like she was a greek goddess.
She found it rather flattering but asked for nothing in return, yet the greeks would give her a small temple and daily offerings. To praise them, she often sprinkled the city in rain to allow Athens to grow their signature olive trees. Even when she had such a nasty run in with the Atlantians, that didn't stop Umbrielle from still wanting to help human kind. She knew of their flaws and knew of the mistakes they were bound to make as the years would come on and she was willing to forgive them. She was not begrudging. She creatted new lands, new animals from simple droplets of waters, with some help from other sentient, elemental beings.
Although as the years went on and societies became less willing to accept polytheistic religions, Umbrielle felt as if she would have to solidify not only her existence but the others so humans would know not to be foolish and ruin something that these beings had worked millions of years in the making to create for them. Umbrielle would make warning signs for those that disbelieved and they would soon meet their fate. To this very day in the modern age, Umbrielle shows herself to those she deems worthy and requests that they spread the message to those wirh pure hearts so she can continue to assist all of human kind.
Fun Facts:
Her favourite animals are horses, dolphins, sea serpents (they existed in the days of her youth and still exist in her kingdom), and beluga whales.
She has grown a great liking to sushi, as ironic as that may sound.
Because of her admiration for Leena, when she ventures to the human world, she often indulges in hot, spicy delacies or she will bathe in extremely hot water and not be phased by it at all.
