Name: Ziazan
Age: As old as time
Gender: Female
Appearance:Here
Personality:
She is the physical embodiment of a rainbow. She has a light personality, very caring and kind hearted and possesses a joy that can be transferred to anyone with the simple flick of her wrist. She's always got a smile on her face, but that doesn't mean she's always smiling on the inside. With every bright rainbow, there lays the dark, mysterious secrets of what is behind it. She's a puzzling deity and very few humans ever see her in her human form, so there have been numerous stories about who she is.
Background History:
We all know how rainbows are formed, right? Sunlight enters through a raindrop at a specific angle while light is separated into different colours, and scientifically, that is still correct, but there was always more to it. Those same raindrops that created the rainbow also created the lovely Ziazan. Her body took but mere hours after a great storm, sweeping over the Earth, had finally subsided. Her hair came from long wisps of different coloured clouds and her lips were formed of the two softest rose petals and soon she was zapped -by a lightning bolt, of course- into existence.
Ziazan had always had a joyous demeanor, very light personality that not only went with the wind, but the flow of whatever was happening down on Earth. On days after rain would fall, she would dip her slender, rainbow made legs into the pools of water right under the clouds to deliver rainbows for all of humanity to enjoy. She found great pleasure in people admiring the simple beauty and felt grateful, enough to keep them coming for centuries to come.
But with a regular rainbow came its secrets. Ziazan often had secrets and underlying reasons as to WHY she would create the rainbows, and it wasn't just to bring serenity and joy to the human eyes. She had never once, though, admitted these reasons to anyone, not even other deities that are rather close. Like her mysterious rainbows, she often has something else brewing under her skin and within her.
It is a very, very rare occasion where she will actually travel to Earth, only because she finds it quite hard on her frail body. She gets sick easily from the pollution, even the slightest bit in the air causes her to feel queasy.
When she is prepared and does visit, though, she keeps a very, very low profile and will rarely even speak to anybody. She is sort of like a spy for the deities, sent in to see what is going on in the minds of humans from one's perspective.
Fun Facts: If she is unwilling to hide herself or feels like messing with a few humans, on a certain day out of each month, she can be seen dancing happily on one of her many rainbows.
When she visits the human world and indulges in their sweets, she often stays true to what she is, mainly by eating quite a few rainbow snow cones, since she's been known to like the taste.
Skittles and how they are endorsed amuse her to no end and she often retorts that they taste nothing like rainbows.
