Name: Cosette
Age: 23
Gender: Female
Appearance: Here
Personality:
While she does posess anthropomorphic features of a rabbit, she is far from being cuddly. Adorable and perhaps a bit sexy, yes, but she has the worst temper you would ever see. Her tail had been cut off but due to an interesting mutation in her genetics it can grow back. The time it takes for it to happen, though, varies. One day she is closer to having a full tail and the next day it's growing in at a painfully slow rate. Her moods are affected by this, most of the time all she offers, though, are the emotions of neutrality and extreme anger.
Background History:
Believe it or not, at one point in her life, Cosette was not frowning, wasn't angry and actually enjoyed her life. Her parents were very proud of their little girl and often did everything they could with her. they didn't need to worry about anything. Cosette was the apple of their eyes. The only thing that was perhaps 'wrong' with the family was that they always had to go into constant hiding or running, and that was only because of what they were. Hunters absolutely adored rabbits of any kind.
Cosette was too young to know this fact, as well as too young to really remember it, so as she grew older she learned to not question it until one fatal day. She ended up meeting a young man who had been injured by one of his own traps. He was pathetic, trying to get it off of himself. Cautiously, Cosette walked over to help him and after that the two grew rather friendly. Cosette snuck out constantly to see him.
She was starting to slowly fall for him until the very day he would betray her. He was only acting, trying to get close to her so he could catch her and bring her to his hunting instructor. He caught her by the tail, but Cosette managed to get away..Her tail, unfortunately, stayed with the traitor. She ran away as fast as she could and managed to stop the bleeding so he wouldn't catch on to her.
From then, not only did she hate humans but men altogether. She felt betrayed every time she even took a glance at her father because of how ashamed she was. Miraculously, though, her tail had been growing back, at the most painful of rates. The pain was unbearable and often put her in the worst of moods.
It got to the point where she ran away from how because of how disgustingly horrid she was being to her parents. She couldn't help it. They couldn't understand her literal pain. She continuously fled until she came upon a town that had others like her in it. She was offered a free room in the local inn, run by a kindly, blue haired rabbit female named Eponine.
Unlike the often grouchy Cosette, Eponine was a fresh breath of air, but she still found the oranged haired rabbit to be interesting. While Cosette didn't like it at first, the two spent quite a bit of time together until they were, finally, at the status of being lovers. Not surprisingly, people in the town had nothing but the warmest of congratulations for this occasion, especially after they had learned of Cosette's hardships. Cosette is still very new to the entire 'romance' thing, but she does try her best to be kinder and sweeter to Eponine when she can.
Fun Facts:
The rate of which her tail grows back is sporadic. One day, it can grow back very quickly, but if it's cut off again, it could grow in at a horribly slow rate.
There is some sort of mutation in her DNA that allows her to regrow a tail.
She has two outfits, unlike Eponine.
It is rare to see her smile, she isn't sure if she can, but when Eponine is being especially sweet, she does try.
