Name: Parvana
Age: Well over 1,000
Gender: Female
Appearance: Here
Personality: She is very rebellious despite the fact that she is supposed to be taking the throne first. She gets cold feet very easily at big events like this and feels as if she needs to prove herself to the world. Parvana has an adventurous streak that can't be doused by a fire such as being held down by having the title of Goddess Queen to her people. Parvana is most definitely a free spirit who will do things on her terms and when she feels is most convenient, not when others tell her it is convenient for them.
Background History: Parvana had been born into an unfortunate lineage. Her parents were god and goddess of their butterfly nation, which would make her a goddess princess. She had always been spoiled by the village people. She lived in a golden temple dedicated to her parents. They even went as far as to tailor the temple into a mini palace for Parvana to sleep in! She felt that all of the attention was absolutely wonderful...For the first few years of her life. When she started to get into her pre teen years, she noticed how things really worked in her village.
People worked hard to get the things they wanted in life, yes, but they heavily relied on her parents for all sorts of guidance and wisdom. Parvana wasn't too sure how she felt about this herself. Soon enough, this would be her. She would be the one being prayed to, having to serve and cast judgment on all that she had range over. It was truly a frightening thing to behold through the eyes of a pre teen princess. She didn't like it one bit and often fought with her parents, trying to get out of this destiny.
She was the only daughter from them, though, so there could be no other heir to take on this responsibility. This didn't stop Parvana, though. She simply dealt with this fact for as long as she could. Her teenage years, which were during her 500th-600th years of life, approached much faster than she thought. Parvana was starting to get restless, and very heavily so. She would sneak out at night, avoiding all guards posted around her home, and see what she could experience in the moonlight hours.
When she would be caught, though, she would be heavily chastised and forced to perform even more hours of preparation for the Butterfly Festival, which was only a 'mere' 600-700 years away. The time in her village went increasingly fast and now she was being forced to prepare even more.
She was being pressured into attempting to find a god-prince to align herself with, so once she took the throne she could marry and then unite her kingdom with another one so they could be even stronger. Parvana paid no mind and mo attention to any of the males that tried courting her. She didn't care for courtship, Parvana just wanted to explore and see what the world had in store for her. And that was exactly what she did. She decided that, for a full year before the Butterfly Festival, the day of her coronation, she would leave and explore all the world had to offer before she had to be forced to settle down.
Unfortunately, she was unaware of the world around her and got caught by a bounty hunter. She managed to get away, but he came back stronger and kept a hold on her, to her dismay. She didn't know why the man had taken her away, but all she knew was that she needed to get back before the Butterfly Festival, and he had to stop her up until then.
Fun Facts:
Despite wearing the colour so much, she hates blue.
Her favorite instrument is the Taiko Drum, commonly used in lightning festivals.
She has a decent singing voice and will often sing at some of the festivals, but absolutely hates it.
She hates being in the spotlight. The only thing she really wants is to explore and be left alone.
